What's on my mind...
These are some of the million things on my mind right now: 1. Mmm, chocolate. Ok, so that's on my mind all the time but today it's *really* on my mind. Maybe it's the rain. It definitely is a No Pudge kind of day. I should keep an emergency stash of Bath Sweets body products for days just like this (link from Mise En Place)! Oooh, imagine this: a warm bath surrounded by chocolate candles from The Soap and Candle Stand. Add in a few of Bath Sweets' Tub Cupcakes and my husband feeding me No Pudge brownies...does it get any better?! 2. I went to my first Bellydancing lesson. I was horrible at it. It's quite possible that no one, in the history of the world...no, the universe, looked more like two pigs dancing in a sheet than I did. I've played sports all my life and was always a bit envious of the really graceful dancers. I finally threw caution to the wind and signed up for lessons. I've got the hips...figured I'd better put them to good use. It actually felt really good to be doing something so completely out of my comfort zone. I could almost feel my soul growing from the experience...I'll keep you updated on the pig situation! 3. A friend and I made the trial run necklaces for our Crafty Ladies Night (we still haven't come up with a name). If anyone is in the neighborhood at 7:00 on Monday night, you should totally drop by, have a few drinks with us and make a fun microscope slide necklace. Actually it's more like 1/2 a microscope slide necklace. I didn't realize how large slides were so we took them to a glass place and worked our feminine wiles. The guy ended up cutting them in half for us and didn't charge us a penny! I told him I liked his "tool" (wink, wink)...what?!...c'mon, I meant his glass cutting tool...not my fault if he took it the wrong way! ;0) 4. That's it...I want another tattoo. Becky (the friend who made the necklace with me) just got a beautiful lotus flower on her arm on Tues. She put some wording underneath it in Polish. Umm...it said something about wanting love...can't remember exactly but it looked great. It gave me the itch for another one. I'm thinking 1 in. stars on the top of my feet. Sailors used to get them there so that the stars would lead them in the right direction and well, I could us all the directional help I can get! They would be pretty visible all the time since I wear flip flops probably 336 days out of the year. 5. Woo hoo, I'm finally going to organize the crazy amount of fabric I have. I printed out a fabric organizer (has places for you to document the store you bought it at, the amount you have and a fabric swatch) and hope to categorize the fabric this weekend...I hope.
