Whew, my summer class is finally over over over! It felt like it would never end. I have a couple months to work on some Gerbera things that I've been wanting to get done...like a Gerbera Gift Certificate (I'm sending one out in the mail today for you Angelica!):

![]() To celebrate my last class, I went out to eat at Geogeskes yesterday with Jim, Pati, my Mom and Gilbert. Mmm, yummy Three Cheese Grilled Cheese (with pesto!) and Margarita Fries! Stopped by the Flea Market and picked up a crazy amount of Japanese stickers, a fun retro brown bag and one of my best finds ever!!!! A old typesetters tray: ![]() ![]() ![]() I had been looking for an old tray for a while now because I wanted to hang it on a long, thin wall in my entryway but all the antique stores had them priced at $30+ dollars. I was getting kinda desperate and put some thought into just forking over the 30 bucks but then lo and behold, what do I find at the Flea Market this weekend?!!! A tray going for only $8 dollars! We actually talked him down to $6 just for the principal of the matter. So excited, now I have to figure out what to fill it with...any ideas?! Sunday, June 19, 2005
Just finished updating the "About" section on my site. If you've ever wondered who were the crazies behind Gerbera, now's your chance!

I was hoping that life would get a little less hectic with the arrival of summer but that's just not the case. I'm trying to finish up a summer class, preparing for my Master's program in Clothing, Textiles and Fashion Marketing in the Fall, staying up to date with The Switchboards, adding new stuff to Gerbera and teaching a cardio kickboxing class on Tues/Thurs nights. Add training a new puppy and spending some quality time with the hubby and well, it gets to be a full load sometimes! Funny thing is that I'm much better with time management when I've got tons of things to do. I hope! Here's a little project I'm working on for our living room: ![]() The brown's a huge pain in the butt and is going to need a couple more coats before it looks solid but I like how the whole thing will eventually pull the entire room together. I hope! Friday, June 03, 20050 commentsWednesday, June 01, 2005
You'll never believe how huge Zefram has gotten! We started Puppy kindergarten last week...believe me, he needs it! One look at those sweet little eyes and you don't mind that he just chewed the top layer of you skin off. So far, he's responding quite nicely to "Sit," and "Crate Up." We're still working on "Down" and "Don't Hump My Leg." All in due time. We've got some new pics from our weekend trip to Ruidoso and of Zefram but I'm not at my desk right now. I'll post them next time! Until then...
