Disclosure: You know those super rare Sponsored Posts where I get paid to talk about amazing products and services? Yup, this is one of them! But because I’m so selective about who and what I share with you, I just know you’re going to love it!
The weather is starting to improve and with the blooming flowers come special moments you may need to find the perfect gift for. Whether it’s Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Graduation, or Wedding Party Gifts, today’s lovely sponsor, Whatsername Jewelry, is your one-stop shop! (hint: read to the bottom of this post to get an awesome deal!)
What’s not to love about these beautifully minimal initial pendants? Each piece is hand-stamped by the designer, Meghan Haskell, with numbers and special characters available.
I love this shape! In fact, the Initial Charm Silver Rectangle Bar is my absolute favorite in her shop. I would love to get one for each of the boys in my life. Totally doable since they come in under 5 bucks each!
Mother’s Day is coming up and this would be a perfect gift for all the four legged mamas out there! Make sure to get your order in on time because I’m sure she’ll be slammed (orders take 1-3 business days to be processed).
Whatsername Jewelry is the perfect gift for your wedding party! She even has a discounted rate on large orders. Major score.
As a special gift to the Tried & True readers, use coupon code TriedTrue at checkout and receive 20% off your entire purchase of $10 or more (shipping not included). Expires April 1, 2013.

Have you ever thought about sharing your expertise with the world? Maybe you know the secret to keeping your sanity while parenting or have a killer garden and want to pass on the knowledge. Either way, have you thought about starting your own e-course on a subject and after doing a bit of research, got discouraged because of a lengthy application process or high fees?
Fear not, dear reader!
CourseCraft is a brand new way to create and share e-courses that requires no up-front costs, no applications, and no coding. (Whew, that was a lot of “no’s.”) What you do get is an easy way to set up an e-course that allows you to share your passion while interacting with your readers. As stated on the CourseCraft website:
Participants can comment on lessons, share photos and ask questions all in one place – and of course we’ll notify you when they do. Or you can disable commenting and handle it all yourself with other tools (like a flickr group, an in-person meetup, or anything else you can think of).
As for payment, you can set up a free course at no cost to you or your readers. (Just think of all the fun, multi-level projects I could share with my T&T readers!) If you do decide to charge for your lessons, CourseCraft takes a small percentage (5%) from your earnings that can be paid via Stripe or PayPal.
I was so excited about CourseCraft that I tested it myself and created a mock course from the T&T archive, How To Throw a Little Golden Books Themed Shower. (Follow link to view mock course) You may remember the shower I threw my sister a couple years ago and the large number of projects that went with it. Because each project needed it’s own pictures and tutorials, I had to split the information over quite a few blog posts, making it somewhat difficult for my readers to get all the info in one place.
If I had used CourseCraft, I would have been able to put each aspect of the shower into different folders with pictures, free printables and tutorials. (Keep in mind, mock up only has pictures) Also, if a reader had a question on what paper to use for the invitations or to clarify how I made the pennant flags, they could ask me directly on that lesson’s page. How cool would that be?!
So, if you’re ready to share your knowledge with the world (I would pay big bucks for a Sanity While Parenting course!), jump on over to CourseCraft to open your free account and start your e-course. I can’t wait to see what you do!
