Molly Monkey

Monkey 2
Tutorial: Molly Monkey, mmmcrafts

I made Molly Monkey a while ago to give to one of my best friend’s little girl. I believe they took to each other quite nicely. I know for sure Molly occupied the little girl’s attention for

The only real difference to the pattern I made was adding a collar, stitching on a small bow to the skirt and making the border of the beret wider. Those were just cosmetic changes, the technical side of the pattern was wonderfully easy to follow and allowed plenty of space to customize to your heart’s desire.

The only thing I would suggest, if you’re going to try for a Molly of your own, is to not stuff the arms and legs until after you’ve sew the body together and flipped it right side out (as mentioned here). I packed everything waaaay too tight and then had to sew around the over-stuffed body…huge pain.
